Top 20 Signs that Fall is Arriving
These are my top 20… 25 signs that fall is arriving!
Before you panic, only a few of these have happened as I write this. YET! But even as I think about going out to the beach and soaking up a little more solar radiation, I’m taking notice of the trees down my street and my eyes glance upward as I drive (talk about driving distracted).
I’m noticing the trees that have taken on a different color hue. They’re not changing yet, but it’s in the air…Also, these aren’t only my signs of fall arriving and some are from my Facebook fans (over 46,000 as of now). Please leave a comment if you have some Top 20 signs of fall that I’m missing!
These are not shown in any particular order of appearance...Some show early in one year and later in another. They are only meant to be used as a mental checklist for fun…

That was a good list. Down here in Georgia it is still wicked hot (Did you like that? I used a New England word!)
Flying out October 4. Can’t wait!
Your list of signs is Spot On, but I was wicked excited to see the DD pumpkin everything one, because it’s my most favorite time of the year! It comes out right around my birthday, August 18!
That’s wicked good usage of the word Cheryl! You’re wicked smahhtt, as we also say up here in N.E.!
When the frost is on the pumpkin and the fodders in the shock!
Sounds like a poem or a song in the making… Maybe you should send those over to Cheryl Wheeler, I bet she could make another New England autumn song with those… 🙂
I love the list. We could really use some fall weather here in Texas.
Sending cool thoughts your way, you;ll see the temps go down tonight… at least 1-2 degrees but they’ll go back up tomorrow… 🙂 Cool thoughts only go so far… I may need some myself this week… My A/C went out and we’re due for some of your temps, So I’m really going to feel your pain.. 🙂
Chickadees, nuthatches and woodpeckers are queuing up!
Laying in the winter supply! Should be lots of acorns this year…
which mean more chipmunks and squirrels I may add it to the list… but wouldn’t this go on the squirrel checklist versus outs??? Hmmmm…
