Cabot Inn and Suites near Lancaster, NH
A few years back I wanted to catch Dixville Notch at dawn. For those who don’t know, Dixville Notch is pretty far North and in fact, if you visit there you are in the Northern White Mountains, and it’s a woodsy but beautiful place to drive through.
Route 26 is a lovely drive and if you take it from Colebrook in the west, it will take you to Errol in the East. You can stop in at the trading post there in Errol and head into Maine, or down 16 to see what the White Mountains have to entertain you.
Cabot Inn and Suites
So, my plan was to drive up after work on Sept 27th to Lancaster, New Hampshire. I made quick online reservations through my Thrifty lodgings (hotels combined) and got an immediate reservation at the Cabot Inn and Suites.
They meet all my basic requirements. They are comfortable and clean, and they are a good jumping-off point to hit the further north scenic locations. Oh, and the Grand Marquis coming out of the parking lot is not mine but I was driving one just like that back then… 🙂
It’s not too expensive so stopping in at the Cabot Inn and Suites near Lancaster, NH won’t break the bank. It makes it easy to stop in and make the further North locations a lot less tiring…
