Unveiling Mount Washington: Is It Really What You Expect?
Greetings my foliage friends. This week we are going to explore Mount Washington… Massachusetts! If you are confused, you aren’t the only one. I was looking in Google Maps and if you put in Mount Washington Massachusetts it will show you on the map the correct location in southwestern Massachusetts but ALL the pictures are of Mount Washington New Hampshire (Its more famous cousin)

I once watched an episode of the TV show, Chronicle, (a local New England show that showcases New England) about a story on Mount Washington. They talked about Bash Bish Falls (the tallest waterfall in Massachusetts) And Lisa and I added it to our list of places we wanted to visit. We saw that the town of Mount Washington is in the lower southwest corner of Massachusetts. During this visit, we found the town hall and church which if you’re not looking for them you might miss them, so don’t blink, along with Bash Bish Falls.

The town is probably best known as the home of the Bash Bish Falls State Reservation. You can read about Bash Bish Falls in this article.
Lisa and I drove over several roads through this area and we found lovely little farm buildings and New England scenes to point your camera at.
