Today we are going to explore Littleton New Hampshire. Littleton is situated on Route 302 at the northern edge of the White Mountains. Littleton is a decent-sized town of about 6,000 residents.

This quaint New England town offers visitors the perfect blend of cozy accommodations, delightful dining options, and stunning scenic views, making it an ideal destination for a fall weekend escape. Littleton is easy to find whether you use your GPS on your phone or if you have already stopped into my Amazon Store for the New Hampshire Gazetteer, find your way in your map book. Either way, you can head up I-93 to exit 41 and if you are over in Bethlehem, you will jump on Route 302 and head West into Littleton… OR if you are in Vermont, you can hit 302 East into Littleton… Needless to say, there are many options for getting to Littleton.

Other suggestions are to drive out to the Littleton Grist Mill with a “walking” covered bridge, or Kilburn Crags Park… Now if the fall colors are early head south to the Basin, Kancamagus Highway, Lost River Gorge, and Castle in the Clouds. If the colors are late, head north to Beaver Brook waterfall in Colebrook, Dixville Notch, Milan Fire Tower, Stark Covered Bridge, Guildhall Grist Mill, and/or take the Granby Road over to Burke Vermont.
