Lexington MA Fall Foliage Does History Right

New England Fall Foliage avatarPosted on July 12, 2012 by Jeff FoliageNovember 6, 2024

Historic Lexington is known for many things. On April 19, 1775, a battle on Lexington Green between the Minuteman and British redcoats started the American Revolutionary War.  No muskets were going off this day but there was an explosion of … Continue reading →

Fall Foliage in New Salem MA

New England Fall Foliage Posted on August 31, 2011 by Jeff FoliageNovember 6, 2024

New England fall foliage, the mere thought conjures scenes of little white churches, a bandstand on the town common, and harvest festivals all wrapped up in a fall foliage bow of red and gold. Elements of a Great Foliage Town … Continue reading →

 Testimonial
Hello, Just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for your help in planning our New England trip this weekend!

We arrived Wednesday night and I’m currently in the airport about to fly back home to NC. Based on your recommendations, we decided to stay in southern New England- we flew into Providence, drove to Old Sturbridge Village, spent some time in the quiet corner of CT and drove down 169 to Mystic.

We spent yesterday and today in Newport. Everything about this trip was beautiful and wonderful! I have no idea if the foliage is “peak” for the area but for us it was just perfect. The trees were beautiful shades of orange, yellow, red, and some green.

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the help you gave us- we never would’ve known to visit these areas if you hadn’t suggested them in one of your posts and we are had the most wonderful trip! Thanks! Meredith Spangler
