Emergo Farm, Vermont B&B

New England Fall Foliage Posted on January 10, 2020 by Jeff FoliageNovember 15, 2024

High on a hill like a beacon in the dark nights of rural Vermont is what Emergo Farm reminded me of.  The stately white farmhouse sits on a hilltop with commanding views of the countryside. Foliage friends of Jeffs have … Continue reading →

The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm

New England Fall Foliage Posted on January 18, 2019 by Jeff FoliageJune 3, 2023

A Vermont Inn out in the country at Christmas.  How much better could it be? So very “White Christmas”.  We were headed up to Vermont to visit family, but due to certain circumstances, we couldn’t stay with family members.  So, … Continue reading →

 Testimonial
Hello, Just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for your help in planning our New England trip this weekend!

We arrived Wednesday night and I’m currently in the airport about to fly back home to NC. Based on your recommendations, we decided to stay in southern New England- we flew into Providence, drove to Old Sturbridge Village, spent some time in the quiet corner of CT and drove down 169 to Mystic.

We spent yesterday and today in Newport. Everything about this trip was beautiful and wonderful! I have no idea if the foliage is “peak” for the area but for us it was just perfect. The trees were beautiful shades of orange, yellow, red, and some green.

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the help you gave us- we never would’ve known to visit these areas if you hadn’t suggested them in one of your posts and we are had the most wonderful trip! Thanks! Meredith Spangler
