Good Fall Foliage Morning! This report was from 6-8 Oct 2019. Mother Nature had done it again. Another half-rain, part cloudy, and a little bit sunny few days for us. October always seems to be unsettled weather and yes this … Continue reading →

Lake Chocorua to Pinkham Notch

New England Fall Foliage avatarPosted on June 5, 2019 by Jeff FoliageMay 15, 2025

I’m writing this as a Fall foliage trip but in reality, could be done from spring to fall (even winter) because Route 16 is a main road. Route 16 takes you from New Hampshire’s Lake Chocorua, up to Pinkham Notch … Continue reading →

 Testimonial
Hello, Just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for your help in planning our New England trip this weekend!

We arrived Wednesday night and I’m currently in the airport about to fly back home to NC. Based on your recommendations, we decided to stay in southern New England- we flew into Providence, drove to Old Sturbridge Village, spent some time in the quiet corner of CT and drove down 169 to Mystic.

We spent yesterday and today in Newport. Everything about this trip was beautiful and wonderful! I have no idea if the foliage is “peak” for the area but for us it was just perfect. The trees were beautiful shades of orange, yellow, red, and some green.

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the help you gave us- we never would’ve known to visit these areas if you hadn’t suggested them in one of your posts and we are had the most wonderful trip! Thanks! Meredith Spangler
